Outstyling The Competition Earns Her International Title

Nineteen years ago, award winning hairstylist, Carol Hartman took what many people thought was an extraordinary step developing her own hair product line.

Early on, Carol started her career in the pharmaceutical industry. Knowing the corporate world wasn't the place to express her creative side, she decided to enroll in a private cosmetology academy to showcase her artistic abilities in the hair industry; quickly mastering the art of cutting, styling and coloring. After graduating from cosmetology school, she opened her first Salon, Carols Beauty Salon, followed by her second, Beauty Works. Then opening her third Salon, L.A. Styles Salon and most recently the fourth, L.A. Styles Salon and Spa opened in Newport Beach, California.

Soon realizing the speed at which she excelled to success and climbed to the top ranks in the industry, being highly motivated and the thirst to learn more, Carol enrolled in continuing education classes and studied under the industries top talent- Jose' Eber, Graham Webb, Vidal Sasoon and Sebastian, just to name a few.

Pursuing greater knowledge and training in full service education and creative design techniques, Carol started attending world tours and seminars in London, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington DC and Florida; acquiring 21 Certificate Awards. The industry was huge with expansion in hair as well as make-up, skin care, holistic treatments and the ever growing interest for her own line of hair products, which launched in 1989. With a complete line of Shampoos, Conditioners and Styling Products, that emphasize natural, organic enriched, botanical ingredients. L.A. After returning from California, missing the balmy California climate, beautiful sunsets and ocean breezes, all of which take place with the enchanting palm tree as the backdrop, the design was created.

Incorporating the beautiful palm tree in the design, the L.A. Styles logo was born. Representing all the beauty and nature in a bottle for your hair, L.A. Styles offers pure-performance, Instant Results! The goal is to continue taking L.A. Styles Hair Products to the mainstream public, create a truly recognizable global brand that make a world recognized fashion statement. May all your dreams come true.
